Rea Valley Scouts is the largest District in Birmingham County, with over 500 Young People, supported by over 150 Adult Volunteers. We have 20 groups in Rea Valley, covering South Birmingham.

Skills for Life 

Scouting provides Young People with Skills for Life to succeed in the future. Through Fun & Adventure, young people gain character, employability, and practical skills. 73% of parents believe Scouting gives Young People the skills to succeed in life, and 41% of employers said that Scouting would positively impact a candidates prospects of employment.

Higher Awards

Rea Valley is excited to be supporting the achievement of Higher Awards by its members. We run, in partnership with other local providers, the Duke of Edinburgh Award’s that can contribute towards the Chief Scout Awards, as well as the Queens Scout Award. In addition to this, we offer the Explorer Belt, as well as the Scout of the World Award. These awards can be achieved throughout Network. Want to find out more about Network?
